Ingredients (5)

3.00 kg fish — scaled and gutted
100.00 ml fresh chillies — 573
black pepper — coarsely ground, to taste
3.00 lemons — quartered
salt — or seasoning

Method:

Rub fish inside and out with olive oil and pepper.
Place whole fish on a grid, high above hot coals, and braai for 30 to 35 minutes, turning carefully after about 15 minutes.
Place fish on a large platter and serve with quartered lemons and salt or other seasoning of your choice.
