125.00 ml water
50.00 ml butter
250.00 ml noodles — vermicelli
8.00 cardamom — pods
3.00 cinnamon — stick
200.00 g sultanas
2.00 Litres milk
500.00 ml sugar
rose water
rose petals — sugared
star anise — sugared
pistachios — chopped
nuts

Method:

Soak sago in water for 30 minutes. Drain well.
Melt butter in a saucepan and gently brown vermicelli, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.
Add remaining ingredients, except rose water and decoration. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until thick and creamy.
Add rose water to taste. Serve hot or cold.
