500.00 g blue cheese
500.00 g cottage cheese
60.00 ml milk
100.00 g walnuts — finely chopped

Method:

Line a 21 x 11 x 7 cm loaf tin with aluminium foil, allowing enough foil to overlap the sides of the tin to fold over the cheese loaf.
Cut the blue cheese into 3-5 mm thick slices.
Beat the cottage cheese and milk together until smooth.
Arrange a layer of the blue cheese slices in the bottom of the loaf tin.
Spoon a layer of the cottage cheese mixture on top and sprinkle with a layer of the chopped walnuts.
Repeat the layers until all the ingredients have been used, ending with a layer of the blue cheese slices.
Fold the aluminium foil over the cheese loaf and chill overnight. Carefully remove the aluminium foil and slice the cheese loaf into 1 cm thick slices. Halve the slices and serve 2 squares per person.
