Ingredients (15)

1.00 salad greens
50.00 g blue cheese — creamy, crumbled
50.00 g pecan nuts — coarsely chopped
2.00 avocados, peeled and diced — peeled and cubed
45.00 ml lemon juice
1.00 onion — sliced into rings
DRESSING
5.00 ml sugar
5.00 ml sea salt
1.00 ml freshly ground black pepper
5.00 ml mustard — powder
30.00 ml white wine vinegar — or cider vinegar
30.00 ml water
1.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
60.00 ml fresh chillies — 573
30.00 ml honey

Method:

Line individual plates with lettuce leaves torn into bite-sized pieces. Arrange cheese, nuts (toasted in a dry non-stick pan), avocado and onion rings on the lettuce.
DRESSING: Mix dry ingredients. Add vinegar, water and garlic. Beat with a hand-held blender, adding oil slowly. Lastly, add honey and beat until well combined.
Pour over salad just before serving.
