Biltong and butternut spread sandwiches

Ingredients (7)

125.00 ml butternut — cooked, mashed
125.00 ml pecorino cheese — grated
125.00 ml cream cheese — smooth
0.00 fresh thyme — chopped
0.00 freshly ground black pepper
0.00 biltong — sliced
8.00 slices brown bread — buttered

Method:

Mix the butternut, cheeses and thyme together.
Season and chill until ready to serve.
(You can prepare it and keep it in the fridge for a couple of days.)
Spread the butternut over 4 slices of bread and top with thin shavings of biltong.
Close up the sandwiches with the remaining bread and cut into triangles or soldiers.
Great to serve as nibbles, or for lunch with a big salad.
