Ingredients (12)

1.00 kg steak — chuck
15.00 ml oil
250.00 g onion — sliced
500.00 g fresh mushrooms — silvered
7.00 ml salt
1.00 ml black pepper — freshly ground
7.00 ml mustard — powder
15.00 ml lemon juice
250.00 ml stock — meat, hot
250.00 ml yoghurt — low fat
15.00 ml fresh parsley — chopped
rice — brown, to serve

Method:

Brown meat (cut into 5 mm wide strips) in heated cooking oil.
Add onions and mushrooms and sauté until the onions are translucent. Season with salt, pepper, mustard and lemon juice.
Add heated meat stock, cover with lid and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
Remove from heat and stir in yoghurt just before serving.
Garnish with chopped parsley, and serve with brown rice.
