Bean paté

  • 850
    butter beans in tomato sauce (reserve the sauce)
  • 2
    cloves garlic
  • 30
    tomato sauce
  • 10
    Worcestershire sauce
  • 15
    lemon juice
  • few drops Tabasco sauce
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste


Place all the ingredients in a food processor and process to form a smooth paste.
Add about 60 ml of the bean liquid to the mixture if it is too stiff and mix well.
Spoon into paté dishes and smooth the top with a knife.
Garnish with sprigs of parsley.
