Basic pizza dough

    dry granulated yeast

    lukewarm water

    olive oil

1. Mix flour, salt, yeast and sugar. Add water and oil. Knead until dough is smooth and elastic. Cover and put in a warm place to rise for about 1 hour. 2. Knead the dough again and divide in half. Roll out both halves on a floured surface to make two circular shapes about 32 cm across. Place dough circles on a greased pizza tray or baking tray. 3. Top bases with ingredients of your choice, or choose from the following options: authentic Italian; deluxe cheese and basil; exotic spinach and prawn; delectable cream cheese and salmon; creative carrot and apple; or sensational salami, spinach and olive (see recipes). 4. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ºC for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes two 32 cm pizzas.
