Ingredients (6)

500.00 g beef mince
1.00 apples — cored, shredded
1.00 onion — finely chopped
2.00 ml dried thyme
5.00 ml salt
freshly ground black pepper — to taste

Method:

Preheat the oven to 160 ºC (325 ºF). Gently combine all the ingredients with a fork. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, freeze in serving portions or arrange on a rack over a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes at 160 ºC (325 ºF). Serve with a sauce of your choice.
Makes about 15 fairly small meatballs.
