Barbecued chicken legs

  • 4
    chicken legs (drumstick and thigh)
  • 200
    readymade sparerib marinade


1. Wash chicken joints, pat dry and place in a container. Pour over the marinade and leave to marinate for 30 minutes to 3 hours. 2. Remove chicken from marinade and grill over medium coals until done. Boil the leftover marinade for 3 minutes and use as a basting sauce. 3. The chicken can be pre-boiled in the marinade before braaing. Remove chicken from marinade and boil in 500 ml chicken stock for 20 minutes. Serves 3-4.
