Barbecue pork sliders

  • 1
    olive oil
  • 2
    birds eye chili, finely chopped
  • 2
    garlic, finely chopped
  • salt and black pepper
  • 1
    smoked paprika
  • 1
    barbecue spice
  • juice of one lemon
  • 1
    tomato sauce
  • 3
    Worcestershire sauce
  • leftover pork loin OR a small pork steak, cooked
  • 4
    slider buns or mini cocktail rolls
  • 1
    micro greens
  • 1
    corn on the cob, cooked and kernels removed OR a tin of corn, whole kernels



With a pestle and mortar, combine the olive oil, chili, garlic, salt and black pepper, paprika, barbeque spice and lemon juice. Grind until you have a rough paste.

Transfer the paste to a mixing bowl and add the tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and set aside.

Shred the cooked pork meat, and mix with some barbecue sauce. Set aside.

Start assembling your sliders by cutting open the buns, and layering it with greens, pork and corn. Add more sauce if you please
