Bar-One sauce

  • 200
    Bar-One chocolate bars OR 200g Bar-One spread
  • 200
    whipping cream
  • 1/2
    vanilla essence


Cut the Bar-Ones into 1cm thick slices and place in a bowl.
Set the bowl over a pot of boiling water and allow the chocolate to melt.
The nougat and caramel will take longer to melt than the chocolate, so stir vigorously until all the lumps have melted.
Remove from the heat, add the vanilla essence and cream and stir well.
You can add a little milk if the consistency is too thick.
If using the spread, heat up the cream 2 – 3 minutes and remove from the stove and add the Bar One spread and the vanilla essence.
Serve hot.
