Take a break from chocolate with this gorgeous banana mousse.

Ingredients (7)

500.00 ml bananas — ripe, mashed
12.00 ml lemon juice
2.00 ml vanilla — essence
12.00 ml castor sugar
300.00 ml cream — fresh, whipped
1.00 banana — sliced
almonds — flaked, to garnish

Method:

Combine the mashed bananas, lemon juice, vanilla essence and castor sugar. Fold in the cream, reserving a little for decoration. Pour into 4 glasses and chill until slightly set.

Decorate each dessert with cream rosettes, banana slices and almond flakes just before serving.
