Ingredients (10)

15.00 ml oil
125.00 g streaky bacon — chopped into small cubes
1.00 onion — medium, finely chopped
1.00 stock cube — chicken
420.00 g baked beans in tomato sauce
400.00 g tomatoes — chopped
5.00 ml chilli sauce
salt and freshly ground black pepper
sugar — pinch
10.00 ml fresh parsley — chopped

Method:

Heat the oil and sauté; the bacon and onion until lightly cooked
Add the stock cube, dissolved in 300 ml boiling water, baked beans and tomatoes. Reduce heat and simmer slowly for 10 minutes. Add chilli sauce, and season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar.
Stir in the parsley and serve steaming hot with bread rolls.
