Ingredients (10)

500.00 g bacon — finely chopped
1.00 onion — large, sliced into rings
1.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
100.00 g button mushrooms — sliced
2.00 potatoes — large, peeled and diced
3.00 carrot — scraped, sliced
200.00 g courgettes — sliced into rings

250.00 ml stock — chicken
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste

Method:

Fry the bacon in a large pan until done, but not crisp. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until soft. Add the mushrooms and stir-fry until pale brown. Add the potatoes, carrots and courgettes and stir-fry until glossy (add a little oil if necessary). Add the chicken stock and simmer until the vegetables are done but still crisp. Season with salt and pepper, Serve hot.
