Avocado salad

  • 1
    head of lettuce, leaves separated
  • 2
    avocados, skinned, stoned and sliced lengthwise
  • 2
    courgettes, thinly sliced
  • 50
    Cheddar cheese, cubed
  • few black olives
  • few stuffed green olives
  • French salad dressing
  • salt and black pepper


Arrange a few lettuce leaves on a pretty salad platter. Arrange the sliced avocado and courgettes on top and sprinkle with Cheddar cheese. Dot with olives. Pour the salad dressing over just before serving and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
