Asparagus And Pea Pasta

    penne pasta
  • 15

    medium leeks, sliced diagonally
  • 250
    ready-made cheese sauce
  • 1
    460g tin asparagus heads
  • 200
    frozen or fresh baby peas


1. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet, drain and set aside. Reserve a little of the water to prevent the pasta from drying out.
2. Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the leeks until soft. Add the cheese sauce, asparagus and the peas. Reduce the heat and simmer for two or three minutes. Season to taste.
3. Pour the sauce over the pasta and serve immediately.
