Ingredients (8)

360.00 g flour — cake
10.00 ml salt
30.00 ml Baking powder
280.00 g flour — wholewheat
50.00 ml oil
15.00 ml vinegar
500.00 ml water
15.00 ml sesame seeds

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Grease a 23 x 13 x 7 cm loaf tin with margarine.
Sift the cake flour, salt and baking powder together. Add the wholewheat flour and mix well.
Blend the oil, vinegar and water and add to the mixture.
Mix thoroughly, turn into the prepared tin and spread evenly.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and bake for about one hour or until a testing skewer comes out clean when inserted into the centre of the loaf.
Makes a medium-sized loaf.
