Apple pudding

Ingredients (13)

70 g butter — or margerine
200 g sugar
3 eggs — beaten
120 g flour — sifted
8 ml Baking powder
3 ml salt
50 ml milk
50 g brazil nuts — finely chopped
385 g pie apples — tinned
brown sugar — mixed with cinnamon
Sauce:
70 g butter — or margerine
125 ml cream
100 g sugar

Method:

Microwave butter and sugar in a glass
bowl on 100% (High) power, 3  minutes.

Add eggs, mix.Sift together flour,baking-powder and
salt, fold into egg mixture.

Add milk and nuts, blend well.  Pour batter into a lightly greased 220mm
square dish.

Arrange apples on top, sprinkle with
cinnamon sugar.

Microwave on 50% (Medium) power, 11
minutes, then on 100% (High) power 6 to 8 minutes.

Microwave sauce ingredients in a glass
bowl on 100% (High) power, 3 minutes. 
Stir twice during cooing cycle.

Pour hot sauce over warm tart slowly,
allow sauce to soak in.

Using the grill feature on your DMO343
place the pudding under the pre-heated griller for a few minutes, watching
carefully not to burn the pudding.
