Apple and bacon kebabs

    green apples, cored and cut into chunks
  • 3
    gammon steaks, cubed
  • lemon juice
  • 60

    prepared wholegrain mustard
  • 15
    mustard powder


Soak wooden skewers in cold water for 30 minutes before using.
Thread apple and gammon onto skewers. Squeeze lemon juice over.
Mix remaining ingredients and brush kebabs generously.
Grill under a reheated grill for 4 minutes, then turn, baste and grill for a further 4 minutes.
Serve hot.
