Anchovy triangles

  • 12
    slices white bread
  • 125
  • 20
    anchovy paste
  • 4
    extra-large eggs
  • 20
    freshly chopped herbs
  • oil


Remove the crusts of the bread.
Blend the butter and anchovy paste and spread each slice with the mixture.
Sandwich 2 slices together and cut each sandwich into 4 triangles.
Whisk the eggs and herbs together and dip each triangle in the egg mixture.
Heat the oil and fry the triangles until done and golden brown.
Serve lukewarm. triangles.
