Berry and apple oatmeal

Ingredients (7)

1 apple
100 g almonds
400 ml oats
400 ml milk
300 ml water
30 g sugar
200 g mixed berries

Method:

In the kitchen:
Wash and cut the apple in half. Remove the core and dice.

Equipment:
Cookware system saucepan and universal handle.

At the barbecue:
Prepare the barbecue for direct heat – approx. 150 °C.

Place the pan on the barbecue and roast the almonds until golden. Remove the almonds from the barbecue, allow them to cool and then chop into smaller pieces.
While the almonds  are cooling down, pour the oats, milk, water  and sugar  into the saucepan and place on the grate.  Cook the porridge  – making  sure  to stir it until it is boiling. Remove the porridge  from the barbecue and turn in the berries. Top the porridge  off with the chopped  roasted  almonds  and pieces  of apple.
