Ingredients (8)

30.00 ml sunflower oil
1.00 onion — halved and sliced
25.00 ml curry paste — red
400.00 g beef — steak,finely sliced
125.00 ml coconut milk
150.00 g mangetout — or been beans
45.00 ml peanuts — roasted, roughly chopped
0.00 fresh basil

Method:

Heat the sunflower oil in a large, heavy-based frying pan or wok. Fry the onion until browned, then stir in the curry paste. Add the beef and cook for about one minute, stirring continuously.

Add the remaining ingredients and stir-fry until the beef is cooked through. Serve at once on a bed of rice or noodles.
