Ingredients (8)

500 g pork — Eskort Marinated Rib Burgers
3 onions — peeled and sliced
30 ml brown sugar
30 ml vinegar — balsamic
15 ml fresh thyme — chopped
4 bread — crispy rolls
rocket — or lettuce
2 tomatoes — sliced or cherry tomatoes

Method:

Cook Rib Burgers according to packaging instructions.
Heat a little oil in a non-stick frying pan, fry the onions over a low heat, until soft (10 – 15 minutes).
Add sugar, vinegar and thyme and stir until sugar has dissolved, mixture has thickened, is golden brown and has caramelised (10 – 15 minutes).
Set aside.
Build your burger by cutting roll in half, layer with greens, tomato slices, rib burger and onion.
