Ramen noodle pork burger

  • PATTY
  • 500

    ground pork

    large cloves of garlic, minced

    ginger, finely grated

    coriander, stems removed and some chopped

    miso paste

    soy sauce

    white or brown Shimeji mushrooms

    sesame oil for frying
  • RAMEN ‘BUN’

    medium ramen or egg noodles, cooked and cooled

    eggs, whisked
  • 5

    soya sauce
  • 5
    ml
    black sesame seeds
  • TO SERVE
  • 1
    medium cucumber, sliced into ribbons
  • 20
    ml
    sriracha sauce
 

Method

20 min
 

1. Patty Mix all the patty  ingredients except for the mushrooms. Divide the mixture into four balls and flatten.

2. Press a few mushrooms into the meat on each side. Fry in a large pan with heated sesame oil and set aside.

3. Mix the cooked noodles with the eggs, soya sauce and sesame seeds.

3. Divide the noodle mixture into four portions. Put a small “nest” in the pan and cook each for about 2 minutes on each side in the same pan as the patties until slightly  golden. Remove and set aside.

5. To serve Put the noodle bun on a platter and top with cucumber ribbons, a patty and drizzle with  the sriracha sauce.
