Spicy mince risoni

Ingredients (11)

1½ cup pasta — risoni
3 cup stock — vegetable
15 ml fresh chillies — 573
1 fresh chillies — birds eye, finely chopped
1 garlic — cloves, finely chopped
1 onion — large, peeled and finely chopped
1 green pepper — deseeded and finely chopped
1 kg beef mince — lean
2 tsp meat spice
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste
fresh basil

Method:

Cook the risoni in the vegetable stock until done. Drain and set aside.
 
Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and sauté the chilli, garlic, onion and greenpepper until soft.
   
Add the mince and brown.  Add the spices, seasoning and cook until done.

 Add the cooked risoni to the mince and mix through. Top with chopped basil and serve.
