Ingredients (8)

60.00 ml peanuts
1.00 garlic — cloves
500.00 g mushrooms — mixed
20.00 ml vinegar — white wine
2.00 ml sea salt
80.00 ml fresh chillies — 573
0.00 freshly ground black pepper
0.00 lettuce

Method:

Preheat the oven grill.
Thread the mushrooms on kebab skewers and place on a baking sheet.
Make a dressing by blending together the vinegar, salt, and olive oil and season with pepper.
Brush the mushrooms with the dressing and grill until done.
Alternatively, cook them over hot braai coals.
Remove the mushrooms from the skewers and slice.
Rub the sides of the salad bowl with a cut garlic clove.
Place in the salad bowl along with the lettuce leaves and moisten with the remaining dressing and sprinkle with the nuts.
