PRESS RELEASE - Imagine the perfect cut of pork being rubbed down with a secret selection of uniquely South African herbs and spices before being slowly cooked until it is so tender that it’s ready to fall apart. Imagine the meat being pulled and the succulent, torn pieces being smothered in BRM Brands’ distinctively sweet and sticky BBQ sauce.

Now imagine spreading the decadent, saucy pulled pork on a lightly toasted bun or using it in a pasta sauce or as a pizza topping - without having to prepare and pull the pork yourself. That is the experience that BRM Brands have brought to South Africans with the introduction of their distinctively South African-styled Pulled Pork.

Pulled Pork is a huge trend in SA and incredibly successful in the United States, with many diners, BBQ joints and restaurants across the country serving it as one of their staples

This deliciously innovative meat is made from a selection of high quality pork cuts which are trimmed of excess fat and then rubbed with the prefect blend of herbs and spices that are guaranteed to tantalise South African taste buds. All you need to do to prepare BRM Brands’ Pulled Pork, is to preheat a frying pan, add the pulled pork to it and heat it up for 10 minutes.

The traditional way of cooking pulled pork takes many long hours but the recipe for this convenience product has been developed and perfected over the course of two years to ensure that the taste will satisfy and tantalise local palates. It will be available on SA shelves in April.
