Food24 takes a closer look Origin Coffee Roasting, one of Cape Town coffeehouse gems, and talks to the National Barista Champion, Willem Pienaar.

Imagine a lovely old building, with rich textured walls, high ceilings and big wooden doors with years of character. Where the murmurs of coffee lovers and aromas of the finest beans in the world lure you in. This is the home Origin Coffee Roasting, where the religion of coffee is practised with passion and enthusiasm.

In the recently held SA Barista Championships, these guys had no less than three barista's representing them in the final, with Willem Pienaar taking top honours. Food24 takes a closer look at this haven for the coffee lover.
