Ingredients (8)

1.00 bread — French loaf
fresh chillies — 573
1.00 onion — finely chopped
2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
210.00 g sardines — mashed
15.00 ml fresh parsley — chopped
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
150.00 g mozzarella cheese — sliced

Method:

Switch on the oven grill. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray.
Arrange the French loaf, cut into 1 cm slices, on the baking sheet and grill on one side until browned. Turn over and brush the other side with olive oil. Set aside.
Fry the onion and garlic in a little oil until tender. Remove from the pan and mix with the sardines and parsley. Season with salt and pepper and spoon on top of the bread slices.
Top each slice of bread with a slice of cheese and grill until the cheese has melted.
Serve immediately.
