WIN a copy of Confessions of a Hungry Woman

recipe book

Sam Woulidge wears her heart on her sleeve allowing her to make incredible connections with people, disarming people with her openness. This intimate style of writing is what this book is made up of. A cherished collection of friendship, great love, recipes and stories she had originally written for Woolworths’ Taste magazine as a monthy columnist.

“It is essentially a love letter. A love letter to food and foreign places, a love letter to my husband, my parents, my family and my friends and ultimately, a love letter to South Africa”.

This love shines through both in these columns and in the introductions she has written for each of the friends that share recipes in the book.

The recipes come from 14 of her foodie friends, including Karen Dudley, Reuben Riffel and Giorgio Nava. The brief that she gave her friends and family taking part in this book was simple: the recipes needed to be Sam-proof reasoning that if she could make them, anyone can.
