Admit it, you’re one of those people who judge people who fry an egg in the microwave! Well, it’s a thing now. You can make an entire 3-course dinner in a microwave at a fraction of the time – even Jamie Oliver makes dishes in a smart oven. Not only can you cook in those, you can grill, roast, bake, fry, broil or even ferment.

Technology has made it so much easier to cook faster, smarter with less oil and great taste like the Samsung Hotblast convection microwave. It’s convection fan evenly distributes air so that the food is equally browned. It also has a slim fry function that makes it possible to get that perfectly crispy crunch without a lot of oil.

Whichever way you look at it it’s a win, because you get healthier, tasty food, using less electricity!

Here are 5 ways you can make healthy, and tastier meals:

1. Cook what you like

We can all agree that in order to make healthy eating sustainable, it has to taste good and be convenient. Making homemade pizza, and who doesn’t love pizza – means you can control the calories, without compromising on the great taste and even try healthier, alternative low carb pizza bases like cauliflower, sweet potato or even aubergine. With the Samsung HotBlast convection microwave, you can simply pop your pizza in, use the convection function to create the perfect pizza with a crusty base and juicy toppings.

2. Make every day a fry day

There’s a reason people can’t part with their fried chicken and fried potatoes chips. It’s all in the frying bit. Everyone knows that steaming and roasting are better for you but frying makes it taste so good.

Luckily there are ways around the oil, now you can Air Fry or Slim Fry without using oil at all and still get tasty sweet potato fries, potato wedges or spring rolls.

3. Stack ‘em up

One of the challenges with cooking in a regular microwave is that you can’t really make more than one dish simultaneously, but with a convection oven, this isn’t a problem. Because there’s more space for bigger plates you can cook so much more at the same time. What’s more, with the Samsung HotBlast convention oven, you can bake a two layered cake in 20 minutes, and cool them together ready for icing!

4. Get some culture(s)

Homemade everything is quite a trend right now and the HotBlast microwave can even make healthy, low sugar yoghurt or low carb dough, quickly! You also don’t have to ferment for days, so you can make your yoghurt the night before, for a healthy breakfast the next day. Amazeballs!

5. Healthy AND hearty

Winter is almost over so while it’s still chilly, why not make yourself some hearty, comfort food like Jamie Oliver’s crackling, smart oven-roasted Pork Belly, complete with scrumptious veggies.

It’s so easy to use eat healthy with the HotBlast convection microwave and with Spring around the corner, it’s the perfect time to start!
