A few weeks ago we brought you the news that Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex has been working on a special project (her first as a royal family member), supporting the community of West London in the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower fire last year.
The Duchess visited The Hubb Community Kitchen at the beginning of January and “was inspired by how the project empowers women at a grassroots level, and championed the cookbook project as a way of ensuring the kitchen can continue transforming lives and communities through cooking”, states the royal website.
The cookbook will be available in South Africa from 12 November 2018 and will retail for R455. We’ve been lucky enough to share three drool-worthy recipes with you in anticipation!
1. Faiza Hayani Bellili’s green chilli and avocado dip
2. Intlak Alsaiegh’s beef and aubergine casserole
3. Munira Mahmud’s caramelised plum upside-down cake
