Ingredients (10)

30 ml butter
1 onion — halved and sliced
400 g pork — stir-fry strips
20 ml cornflour
250 ml milk
30 ml wholegrain mustard
10 ml english mustard — hot
5 ml fresh thyme
pasta — or gnocchi, cooked to serve
mixed vegetables — to serve

Method:

Melt the butter and sauté the onion. Add the pork strips and fry until browned.

Mix the cornflour with a little milk to form a paste. Add the mustards, thyme and remaining milk into the saucepan and bring to a simmer. Add the cornflour paste and stir until the sauce thickens.

Pour the sauce over the cooked pasta or gnocchi and stir to coat. Serve with vegetables.
