Tomato & herb casserole with chilli

Ingredients

 
  • 500
    g
    chicken breasts
  • 1
    Royco tomato & herb casserole powder packet
  • 1
    tsp
    dried chilli flakes
  • 1
    small green pepper, diced
  • 1
    pinch
    ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1
    can
    tomato paste
  • 500
    ml
    water
  • 1
    pinch
    salt, to taste

Method

 
Cut the chicken breasts into stir-fry strips. Brown chicken over medium heat and season to taste with black pepper and salt. Cut the green pepper into strips or small cubes and add to the chicken. Cook for about 5 minutes. Add the chilli flakes. Add the tomato paste and the Royco sauce packet mixed with the water and allow to simmer for 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Serve with rice or pasta.
