Salmon mousse



 
 

Ingredients

 
  • 2
    can
    salmon
  • 250
    ml
    plain yoghurt
  • 250
    ml
    good quality mayonnnaise
  • 1
    tbsp
    tomato sauce
  • 1
    tbsp
    worcester sauce
  • 1
    tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1
    half green pepper, chopped
  • 1/3
    cup
    gherkins, chopped
  • 1/2
    cup
    onions, chopped
  • 1
    Tbs
    slightly heaped, gelatine
Servings: Change Serving
 
 

Method

 
Blend salmon, yoghurt and mayonnaise. Add tomato sauce, worcester sauce and lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste. Blend well. Mix gelatine in 1/2 cup warm water, let cool. Add to mixture, stir well and pour into mould and refrigerate to set. Serve with wedges of lemon and melba toast or wholewheat bread.
