Quick and easy coconut tart



 
 

Ingredients

 
  • 1/2
    cup
    cake flour
  • 2
    tsp
    baking powder
  • 1
    cup
    sugar
  • 2
    cup
    milk
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1
    cup
    fine dessicated coconut
  • 50
    ml
    melted butter
  • 1
    pinch
    cardamon
  • 1/4
    cup
    flaked almonds
Servings: Change Serving
 
 

Method

 
Blend all ingredients together, preferably with an electric whisk.
Pour the mixture into a round greased baking tin and bake at 180°C for 30-35 minutes, or until golden on top.
A quick grill at the end of the baking time will help to speed up the browning process.
Cut into slices.
Serve as is or with custard. Can be eaten hot or cold.
