Ingredients (9)

2 kg peaches — yellow cling
3 kg onion — finely chopped
1 kg sugar
750 ml vinegar
20 ml curry powder
15 ml turmeric
20 ml mixed spice — ground
5 handful cloves
15 ml salt

Method:

* Peel peaches and chop fine removing the pips
* Boil everything together for one and half hour until the fluid has boiled away and the chutney has thickened.
* Remove the cloves and bottle in sterilized bottles
* Store in a cool place
