Lemon Chicken Drumsticks



 
 

Ingredients

 
  • 2
    kg
    Chicken drumsticks
  • 3
    tbsp
    Butter
  • 2
    tbsp
    Oil
  • 2
    tsp
    Crushed garlic
  • 3
    tbsp
    Lemon Juice
  • 1/4
    tsp
    Fresh, chopped Parsley

Method

 
In a sausepan, melt the butter on medium heat. Add oil. Add crushed garlic and stir for 2 minutes so that the garlic does not burn, and not be fully fried. Add lemon juice and parsley seconds before removing the saucepan from the stove. Preheat oven to 180 C. Place the drumsticks in an oven tray or ovenproof dish. Gently pour mall amounts of the butter and lemon mix over drumsticks. Leave 30 minutes or until golden and crispy. Serve with potatoe wedges and a green salad.
