Jam tarts


Preparation time: 30 mins (fridge)
Cooking time: 15 mins
 
 

Ingredients

 
  • 100
    g
    cake flour
  • pinch
    salt
  • 50
    g
    margarine
  • ice cold water
  • apricot or strawberry jam
Servings: Change Serving
 
 

Method

 
1. Sift flour and salt together. 2. Rub margarine with your fingertips in flour so that it looks like bread crumbs. 3. Add enough water to make a dough. Mix with a knife. 4. Wrap the dough in a bag and put in the fridge for 30min. 5. Roll dough 5mm thick out and cut circles to fit a "kolwyntjie" pan. 6. Put a teaspoon of jam in each tart and bake for 15min at 190 Degrees Celsius.
