Ingredients

 
  • 1
    tbsp
    balsamic vinegar
  • Spices of your choice
  • 1 medium young butternut
  • 2
    tbsp
    olive oil
 
 

Method

 
Peel butternut and slice 5cm thick. Heat olive oil in large frying pan. Fry butternut slices over medium heat till just done (about 2 min on each side). Drain on paper towel end sprinkle with spice of your choice. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and serve as starter while still reasonably hot. Can also be eaten as a main dish vegetable.
