Bacon and mushroom mini quiches
 


 
 

Ingredients

 
  • 50
    g
    Rama
  • 100
    ml
    cake flour
  • 250
    g
    mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 250
    ml
    milk
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 5
    ml
    baking powder
  • 500
    ml
    grated cheddar cheese
  • 250
    g
    bacon bits
  • ml
    finely chopped parsley or spring onions
  • seasoning to taste
 
 

Method

 
Saute the bacon, onions and mushrooms in the Rama. Beat together milk, eggs and seasoning. Add to bacon mixture. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into non-stick patty pans and bake at 180C for about 15 to 20 minutes.
For variations, replace the bacon with any of the following:
200g smoked snoek
200g cooked spinach and 100g feta
200g cooked butternut and 100g feta
200g cooked chicken and jalapeno peppers to taste
