Ingredients (6)

1 onion — sliced
2 tomatoes — grated
1 tsp garlic and ginger paste
1 coriander
2 tsp curry powder — or paste
1 pilchards in tomato sauce

Method:

Braise the onion, garlic and ginger in a little oil until soft. Add curry powder / paste and the grated tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove the bones from the pilchards and mash them, then add them. Simmer for 10 minutes and serve with rice / roti
