Ingredients

 
  • Soya sauce
  • 2
    tsp
    All spice
  • 3
    tbsp
    sago, soaked in water
  • 3 cloves
  • 4 medium sized potatoes (mashed)
  • 3 peppercorns
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • 500
    g
    steak mince
  • HP sauce
 
 

Method

 
Braise chopped onions, add cloves, all spice, peppercorns, onions must be a nice golden colour add mince and brown then add soya, Worcestshire and HP sauce. Add salt and pepper and then drain water off sago and add to mince. Let it simmer until saga is transparent. Add water if dry so you can have a nice sauce mince mix. Once cooked place in a casserole dish then add mash potatoes on top (mash must be smooth milk and cream and butter is perfect) pattern using your fork then grate some nutmeg on top place in oven on grill setting and grill till golden. Serve with galzed carrots and boiled gem squash.
