Chilli chutney

Ingredients

 
  • 250
    g
    chillies
  • 1
    large onion
  • 1
    big tin All Gold apricot jam
  • 750
    ml
    All Gold tomato sauce
  • 1
    heaped spoon garlic
 
 

Method

 
Chop the onion finely, and simmer in its own juice till transluscent. Add garlic.
Chop chillies finely, and add to the pot. The heat you want depends on the amount of chillies you add.
Pour in tin of apricot jam and the All Gold tomato sauce.
Simmer all together for about half a hour.
Bottle in jars and keep till required.
