Ingredients (10)

300 g chicken breast fillets — boneless
1 can mushrooms
300 g spinach — wilted
250 ml cream
500 g pastry — frozen
2 cloves garlic — cloves
1 onion
50 g butter
1 tbsp flour
1 eggs

Method:

Filling:
Fry your garlic and onion in some butter till onion goes soft, then remove from pan. Chop your chicken into 1/2 inch cubes and fry in the same pan as the onion/garlic. (often better if friend in batches) you are not cooking the chicken through here just browning it. once this is done add the spinach, mushrooms garlic onion, thyme and basil and leave to simmer. While its simmering whisk your flour and cream together until the cream just thickens then stir into the chicken etc. Cook for about 15 mins.

Pies:
I like to turn this into mini pies but you can make one big one if you like.

Take 4 smallish round bowls and place the filling inside then cover with rolled out pastry, brush with egg and bake for +- 20 minutes.
