CHICKEN PIRNAUW ON RICE



 
 

Ingredients

    oil
  • 1
    large tomato (sliced)
  • 1
    large onion (sliced)
  • 2
    ml
    peper
  • 2
    ml
    tumeric
  • 2
    ml
    mild curry powder
  • 5
    ml
    salt
  • 6
    tsp
    sugar
  • 1
    kg
    chicken thighs (cut in half)
  • 2
    large potatoes (peeled & cubed)
  • 125
    ml
    water
  • 250
    ml
    rice (cooked)

Method

 
heat the oil, add onion and fry till glazy, add tomato, simmer for 2 minutes. Add all flavorants. Simmer for 2 minutes add chicken and water. Turn heat to low to prevent burning and simmer till chicken is done and most of the water has evaporated. Serve on cooked rice.
