Buttermilk rusks

Ingredients

 
  • 2
    kg
    selfraising flour
  • 5
    eggs
  • 3
    sugar
  • 3
    cup
    butter
  • 1
    l
    buttermilk
  • 2
    Tbs
    salt

Method

 
Beat milk, sugar and eggs well.
Rub in the butter, salt and flour with your fingertips untill mixed well. Preheat the oven to 170°C.
Grease 3 pans with butter or spay and cook. You can also use sheep fat to give the rusks a special taste.
Bake about for 1h15min.
