Ingredients (8)

1 onion — chopped
500 g bacon — diced
1 handful mushrooms — sliced
75 g rice — mushroom flavoured
500 g noodles
250 ml cream — fresh
750 g biltong — sliced
500 g cheese — grated

Method:

Fry the onion, bacon and mushrooms together in the pot for 5 minutes. Do not add any oil.
Add the rice and noodles and pour boiling water to completely cover the ingredients.
Close the pot and let it cook for 20 minutes. Open to stir every 5 minutes.
After 15 minutes, add the biltong and cream.
When the noodles are cooked sprinkle the cheese over and serve.
