Geez! Everybody please get off your high horses here, this is a well-researched business decision. The problem is that you guys in the WC don’t have affordable variety like us Jo’”burgers” such as Steakout Grill’s or Butchers Block, when you go to Spur you know what to expect and you pay for that (discounted premium as it may be) and the kids have a wonderful time. There are not many steak ranches that incorporate such as strong family atmosphere than Spur, so when you want that premium steak, pay the baby sitter and get something more decent that Hussar’s….

My initial reaction: NO WAY!!!!!!
The positive me: Let's give 'em a chance!!!

This is like PEP Stores buying Woolies. Not the best idea.

As a Hussar fan, I'm devastated to hear this. Hussar was special; Spur is average on a good day. So sad to hear this - but the good news is that there's still Nelson's Eye.

An extension of what they are doing and Spur Steak Ranches have been around a long time so they are a sound business model. Will be interesting to see!

Hope Hussars quality stays the same!
